SS Bob Marvel 9mm

Shot my Marvel today. Wow is it easy to shoot accurately with the bull barrel. Targets are from 5,7,10 and 15yds.

Yep this was at Shoot Straight where at least they have steel partitions in each lane.

Very nice, congrats on the 9mm Marvel. Just picked one up myself and I'll have a report soon.

I'm really curious how the 9mm feels with the Everlast recoil system. It changes a .45 for the better. The Marvels are amazing guns. I love the unique features and look, as well as the function.

I find it real easy to shoot. This is my 2nd 9mm 1911 and will carry it. Maybe use for IDPA also if legal.

I shot it this evening, 50 flawless rounds. Man, it makes me look good! Extremely comfortable to shoot, and like you said accuracy is amazing.

Sorry I'm not trying to hijack this thread. This is 10 rounds at 21'.

Wondering if you really meant the recoil system or more the fact that it's a government slide that is cut down to commander length?

Congratulations on your Marvel 9mm. Have 2 myself, however in .45.

I think it's the Everlast system that changes the felt recoil so much. Could be a combination of things, though. All I know is that gun n commander length recoils like a full size 1911. So I'm curious if the 9mm notices the same thing.

Probably very subjective. I do feel a difference with the .45 but I don't sense much difference between the Bob Marvel 9mm and the Lady Hawk 9mm.
But I don't use +P cartridges.
