If it's as nice as you say then that's a really good price for a T Prefix

I sold one like that for $650 without a pouch.

Does it have a pouch? That will make a difference in pricing and collectability.

I sold it to upgrade it to a '66 T with a pouch, never shot, for $695.

I noticed the prices in IL are lower. When I went to a gun show in Phoenix, there was not a "T" under $800

Thanks to all for your reponse the 68T is in unfired condition, but with out a pouch, does have the paper work that it came with.At first the asking price was $650.00 I thought I might be able to get it for $600.00.But at the time of purchase I was standing there with it in my hands looking at it, when all at once the owner said to me if you take it now you can have it for $450.00 but I need the money today, I replyed to him are you sure He said yes, I said Ok
will cash be alright. He answered nothing but, its a done deal.Still don't know
quit what happened.But I'am a happy fella.

You definitely stole home base! Consider that a Hungarian FEG clone of the T-model, the PJK-9HP, sells for $300. They only made this exact model for a few years. The newer ones have a dull finish and plastic grips.

68T IT Beautiful

1saxman,
Your right just don't get deals like this to often anymore, wanted to be fair
with the guy, but he insisted that I only pay the $450.00.
But I just hate feeliing like I may have took him a little thats not me, but he would not have it any other way.Hope the money helps him out for what ever he needed it for.
Jack

If someone took it to a gunshop and traded it in or sold it outright, they would have gotten less I believe. A good deal from an individual.

Sorry to bring this thread up from the dead, but this thread is the first hit on my google of:

"1968 "T" Series Browning Hi Power"

What is the current value of this HP TODAY?

More specifically what is considered a "good deal" ?

Let me add one:

Why would "T" be SURE to have a good trigger - never heard this before!
